Google v. China: Google Deserves Our Respect

In case you have not seen this, Google is boldly going where few have ventured to go before, including the US government.

China operates as if they can bully and intimate any and all countries who disagree with their abusive human rights record.  China consistently violates the human rights of anyone and any “thing” in their path and resorts to state-sponsored cyber terrorism and as if it was their national pride to do so.

I have always been a huge fan of Google.  Today, my respect for Google is greatly elevated.   Google is doing what the US government should have done a long time ago – stand up to a belligerent global bully and human rights abuser.

We should all stand behind Google who has shown more courage than our own government on the issue of human rights abuse by the Chinese government.

On a related technical note, here is a link to an IP address blocklist that can be used to block IP addresses from China.

And what is won by blocking Chinese visitors? The Chinese govnerment should treat people better, and stop censoring things online, so in order to protest one should make sure that the very people opressed by the Chinese regime – those living in China – can access even fewer sites?

People routinely block access to IP addresses of networks that launch cyber attacks.

If you had of actually visited the link and read the details before posting a comment/;question, you could have answered your own question!
